Most of the team’s communication happens through the email listserv, and the registration link will be going out tomorrow for returning families!

Hello Barracudas! Welcome to our Summer Session, running from May 28th through July 27th, 2024.

On-line registration will open on Friday, May 3rd for all returning swimmers. Please see your email or contact Laura at greenbeltswim@gmail.com for more information. If you are a returning family and suspect that your email is not currently on our Google Group listserv, please email Laura ASAP!

For new swimmers/families, please attend our Open House on Thursday, May 16th at GAFC from 4:30-6PM. Our coaches and Board members will be present to administer swim tests and answer questions. A swim test is required for new swimmers. Once you have completed your test and spoken with your coach, you will receive your link to register.

Registration fees are $135 for age groups and $75 for Developmentals. The registration link will include information on purchasing team caps and t-shirts. GMST has a SwimOutlet TEAM STORE (see sidebar of this website for link) where you can purchase gear (goggles, for example) and team suits (in green/black). Purchasing a team suit is recommended but not required. If you have questions about PMSL-approved competition wear, please email Laura (greenbeltswim@gmail.com).

Hello Barracudas! Our Winter/Spring Session will be held at the indoor pool at the Greenbelt Aquatic and Fitness Center (GAFC), with our Open House and swim tests (for new swimmers only!) held on Thursday, January 4th at 4:25PM and our first practice on Tuesday, January 9th. We will finish with our Spring Time Trials on Sunday, May 12th. Our practice schedule will be as follows:

Developmentals: Su 8 – 8:45AM @GAFC

Age 8 & Under: Tu/Th 4:25 – 5:25PM; Su 7:45 – 8:45AM @GAFC

Age 9 – 18: Tu-Th 4:55 – 5:55PM; Su 7 – 8:30AM @GAFC

For observance of Spring Break, there will be no practice on 3/26, 3/28, or 3/31.

The registration link will open on Friday, December 15th, and will be sent out to the membership via the Google Group listserv. If your child is a new swimmer, please wait to register until after their swim test on 1/4.
